Summer Wind Down: Yin Chakra Healing Workshop

Please join us in the studio on Sunday, August 25th, from 2 - 4 pm for some relaxation and chakra healing!
Yin Asanas (Poses):
Poses are held for 3-5 minutes, bringing moisture to the connective tissues, joints and muscles which in turn helps encourage the fascia (or casing of the connective tissue) to release, increasing mobility and fostering a relaxation effect in the body and mind.
Chakras (Energy Centers of the Body):
The Seven Chakras symbolize energy centers and each one corresponds to a particular bundle of nerves, one or more major organs and areas within our spiritual body that may impact our physical and emotional well-being.
Karen will guide attendees through a series of gentle Yin Asanas which are mostly on the floor, explain which chakra the pose correlates to and the benefits of cultivating this body-mind connection while chanting the vibrational sound for each energy center as you relax into bliss.
Registration
Cost is $35.00
Preregistration is required.
Space is limited to 12 students with a minimum of 5.
The registration fee is non-refundable unless we have 48 hours of notice. You may wish to donate your registration if you are not able to be there at the last minute.

Karen LePree is a certified yoga instructor; she has been practicing for over 25 years and teaching for 11. She currently enjoys teaching Hatha, Yin, and Vinyasa Style Yoga along with Meditation and breath work.
